- Administrative Positions are certified positions such as principal, assistant principal, or other similar positions.
- Certified Positions are jobs that require teacher certification (examples include teachers, counselors, therapists, etc). If you are applying for a certified position, make sure to include a copy of your college transcripts and your current resume to your application.
- Classified Positions are jobs that do not require a teaching certificate. Examples include maintenance, child nutrition, clerical, support aides, bus drivers, substitute teachers, and other support staff.

Hoover City Schools to Host Career Fair at Spain Park High School
Hoover City Schools invites the community to its upcoming Career Fair, an exciting opportunity to learn about the rewarding careers available within one of Alabama’s top-ranked school districts. The event will take place on Monday, February 17, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at Spain Park High School (4700 Jaguar Drive). It will be for all positions, certified and classified.
This event is the perfect chance to learn more about the diverse career paths available within Hoover City Schools.
