PowerSchool Parent and Student Public Portal Information


The school registrar will send each student home a printed parent portal letter. Parents must use the included ACCESS ID and ACCESS PASSWORD to create an account for the PowerSchool public portal. The documents below should be used to support parents in creating an account. Contact your school's registrar to receive the ACCESS ID and ACCESS PASSWORD if needed.

Q: Where can I go to find more information?
A: Visit the HCS Website

Q: My app will not let me log in. 
A: The app will force a password change every 90 days. If your student's grades are no longer updating in the app, log in to the web-based portal to update your password.
 
Q: How can I see grades?
A: For secondary students, current grades and assignments are available under the tab - Grades and Attendance. Elementary parents will see term grades only.
