Brief description: Coach English, Head Football Coach at Hoover High School, is holding his summer youth football camp. The camp will focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game, developing skills, and knowledge of football, all while having fun and competing with players their age.

The annual Spain Park Baseball Camp is a camp based on instruction in the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, and pitching. Campers will practice and compete with campers in their age group. Open to ages 6-13.
When: May 26-29 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Where: Spain Park High School Field

Berry Drama Daze is a five-day camp for rising 4th-9th graders, designed to promote imagination, teamwork, and self-confidence by exploring the power of the body, voice, and mind. It is perfect for all students, regardless of their level of experience. We will focus on telling stories via art, song, dance, and acting. Students will collaborate, problem-solve, and have fun while learning new skills, making new friends, and preparing a showcase performance for the final day.
Tuition is $225 for the week, which includes a camp T-shirt, art supplies, and pizza on Friday. Students will bring their own lunches each day, and are encouraged to bring a water bottle. Students may be asked to bring some props and simple costume pieces. Camp will run from 10am to 3pm each day, with a 4:30 pm showcase performance on the final Friday.Location: Berry Middle School

Bumpus Band students will receive small group and large group instruction in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year. $50 registration fee. Registration will be sent out to Bumpus Band parents via email

Hoover High School Wrestling Camp K-12 – A camp for all girl wrestlers to improve their skills with a collegiate champion wrestler, Aniyah Griffin of Huntingdon College.

Youth basketball clinics every Monday throughout the summer from 5 – 8 pm in the Spain Park High School gym for 3rd-6th graders.

Camp Legacy is a free, week-long day camp for incoming 6th graders hosted by the Hoover Police Department and HPD School Resource Officers. Throughout the week, students participate in team-building activities, leadership development, dynamic speakers, and hands-on lessons that help build confidence before starting middle school.
June 22-26 at Bumpus Middle School and July 13-17 at Berry Middle School

Interested students will learn the process of building and programming a Vex robot and practice on a game field that mimics actual game matches. A Google Form will be posted for sign-up soon. There will be a cap of 20 students.

This camp is designed for elementary-aged boys and girls with varying soccer abilities, from first-time players to seasoned vets. RCSC coaches are made up of current boys and girls Varsity and Junior Varsity coaches at Hoover High School. Campers can register here.

Registration for the 2026 Spain Park Youth Football season is now open. The registration window runs from April 1 through June 1, and the cost to participate is $250. Families can register online at the Hoover East link.
Eligibility – This program is open to all upcoming 1st through 6th grade students who attend Greystone Elementary, Rocky Ridge Elementary, Riverchase Elementary, Shades Mountain Elementary, or Berry Middle School. Home-schooled students who are zoned for Spain Park High School are also eligible to participate.
Equipment – The program provides each player with a Guardian helmet, two game jerseys, a practice jersey, and a spirit pack that includes a t-shirt and shorts. Players are responsible for providing their own shoulder pads, practice and game pants, socks, a mouthpiece, and cleats.
Schedule & Location – Practices are held on the grass fields next to Spain Park High School. Games are played during the week, with no weekend games scheduled.
